On behalf of the Belarusian people, President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of greetings to President Emomali Rakhmon of the Republic of Tajikistan and all the people of this country on the occasion of the their national holiday, Independence Day.

‘I am convinced that the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan will take every effort by developing friendly relations based on respect, mutual support and consideration for the interests of both states in order to realize the considerable potential of the bilateral cooperation for the good of our peoples,’ the letter runs.
