On behalf of the Belarusian people, President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of greetings to the Chairman of the National Defence Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Kim Jong-il, and the people of this country on the occasion of the Formation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

‘I am convinced that the friendly relations and constructive cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea will promote continuous prosperity of our countries,’ the letter of greetings runs.
