Alexander Lukashenko meets with cultural figures to discuss the prospects of the national film-making industry09.09.2010

‘The State has done a lot in recent years for Belarusian cinema. Starting from 2006 till 2009 state investments in film-making increased five-fold. Nearly 60 billion roubles have been invested in this industry over the past three years. However there has been no real breakthrough in national film-making so far,’ said President Alexander Lukashenko during the course of his meeting with cultural figures to discuss the prospects of the national film-making industry.
