President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of congratulations to Sergei Sobyanin on the occasion of his assuming the office of Moscow mayor.

In his letter of congratulations, the Head of State has expressed his hope that 'the ties of friendship that have existed in the relations between the Republic of Belarus and Moscow for many years will continue to strengthen in the future'.
