President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to the People's Artist of Russia Nikita Mikhalkov on the occasion of his 65th birthday anniversary.

'You have become a historic cultural figure as an outstanding director and actor of our time. Your great talent has been manifested in wonderful films distinguished by the depth of understanding of the past and the present, believable and bright characters, richness of the film language and artistic excellence. These films, which have been distinguished by prestigious international prizes and awards, are part of the golden fund of international cinematograph,' said the President of Belarus in his letter of birthday greetings.

The Head of State has wished Nikita Mikhalkov strong health, successes in all his undertakings, happiness and wellbeing.
