Alexander Lukashenko and Hugo Chávez visit a new residential district in Maracay 17.03.2010

On 16 March Alexander Lukashenko and Hugo Chávez visited a future residential district in the city of Maracay.

Belarusian specialists will construct a residential district in Maracay. The Heads of State laid the foundation stone of the future residential area.

Presidents Alexander Lukashenko and Hugo Chávez got familiar with a series of promising construction projects and also with the joint projects that are now in progress.

The Heads of State talked to local dwellers, Belarusian and Venezuelan builders, and inspected the construction site. President Hugo Chávez presented 200 Belarus tractors to Venezuelan farmers.

The President of Belarus believes that Belarusians should focus on three major projects, namely the development of residential districts in Caracas, Maracay and Barinas, instead of taking up projects all around Venezuela.
