The President of the Republic of Belarus, President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has sent a message of greetings to the participants of the 14th Golden Puck National Ice Hockey Youth Tournament.
This tournament has traditionally become one of the most popular youth sports entertainments in Belarus, the President said in his message of greetings. The tournament has rich history and bright prospects. "Many famous ice hockey players began their glorious stories at competitions like this one," said the Head of State.
Golden Puck is a great school for young athletes, who in their pursuit of the championship title, display the best qualities of their character – resoluteness, courage and ability to work as a cohesive team.
In his message of greetings, the President says he is convinced that the younger generation of athletes, for whom patriotism and their country’s prestige always come first, will prove by their game that Belarus is a strong sporting nation. |
