President Alexander Lukashenko has sent 80th birthday anniversary greetings to Nobel Prize winner Academician Zhores Alferov, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
In the world of science, the name of Zhores Alferov is associated with remarkable discoveries in physics and radio-electronics, said the Head of State. "You have managed to educate brilliant students who are now making a big contribution to Belarusian and world science. People in Belarus are proud of you as a well-known public and political figure and love you as their great countryman distinguished by true patriotism and magnanimity," runs the letter of birthday greetings.
Alexander Lukashenko has expressed the conviction that Zhores Alferov’s enormous scientific talent will continue to contribute towards strengthening of friendship between the fraternal peoples of Russia and Belarus. |
