Belarus thanks the United Arab Emirates for its support in the international arena, said President Alexander Lukashenko at today’s meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Belarus Mohamed Alraeesi in view of the expiry of the diplomat’s term in office.
"There has never been a case when Belarus would request assistance from the UAE and your state would not react to it," said the Head of State.
"Convey to the leadership of your country that you may rest assured that Belarus' position towards the UAE is decent and sincere," Alexander Lukashenko said to the Ambassador. "You can also rely on our support in a whole range of issues."
Since the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the two states in 1992 the countries have cooperated constructively and achieved significant results, the President said. "Our relations have reached a high level of trust and intensiveness; we have created a strong legal framework for our bilateral cooperation," said the Head of State. |
