President Alexander Lukashenko and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to Attend Operational and Strategic Exercise West-200928.09.2009

On 29 September President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev will attend the operational and strategic exercise of the Armed Forces of Belarus and Russia, West-2009.

The heads of state will focus on the issues relating to military security of the Belarus-Russia Union State.

In addition, the two are expected to hold one-on-one talks to discuss urgent issues of Belarusian-Russian cooperation and those of the international agenda.
