Significant funds have been invested in the agricultural industry in our country. What is important is that they yield profits. In spite of this year’s adverse weather conditions, a good harvest has been gathered. Good results have been reported by livestock breeders. The processing industry has also been marked by steady growth. The food security of the republic has been ensured.

The achievements of the agricultural industry are the result of the daily hard work of both common agricultural workers, processing organisations and service providers, and specialists, top managers, agricultural scientists, veterans of agricultural production and the youth, workers of the social and cultural spheres in rural areas.

I would like to express to you my profound gratitude for your commitment to agriculture, for your great contribution to the economy and sovereignty of Belarus. Decent, highly productive work at every workplace, in every organisation is the main resource, the reliable foundation of the state, an essential prerequisite for its prosperity.
