I cordially congratulate you on the opening of the unforgettable holiday of arts and friendship, the 11^th Golden Hit 2009 international music festival in Mogilev.

Over the course of its history, the festival has been fulfilling honourably its noble mission of preserving the continuity of generations and contributing to the best traditions of domestic and world popular music art. On its stages, the most popular performers gather from the various countries and musical epochs, timeless melodies and rhythms sound, which make up the golden stock of contemporary culture.

It is my pleasure to note that this year this creative forum has obtained a new face and its programme has been beefed up with new events in a variety of fields and genres of arts, catering for both adults and children. I have no doubt that it will become a great present for residents and guests of the Mogilev Region, will help enrich the cultural life of our wonderful land, strengthen friendship and consent between peoples.
