On behalf of the Belarusian people and on behalf of himself, President Alexander Lukashenko has extended his sincere condolences to President Aníbal António Cavaco Silva of the Republic of Portugal in connection with a devastating flood that hit the island of Madeira and caused numerous casualties. The President of Belarus has also conveyed his condolences to the families and friends of the victims of this natural calamity.
