On behalf of the Belarusian people and on behalf of himself, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Mahinda Rajapaksa on his re-election as President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

In his letter of congratulation, the President of Belarus has expressed the conviction that the friendly relations and comprehensive cooperation between our countries will continue to expand further.
