The President of the Republic of Belarus has signed a Decree that introduced additions to Decree No 100 "On Some Issues of Ownership Supervision."
The purpose of this document is to ensure that the interests of the State are protected when real estate items (permanent structures (buildings, constructions), semi-detached chambers, incomplete suspended and incomplete unsuspended permanent structures registered in Minsk and Belarus’ regional centres) are transferred from the ownership of business companies to the ownership of other entities, including by making the real estate items part of a legal entity’s statutory fund.
The provisions of the document relate to the disposal of real estate property items by business companies in which the Republic of Belarus holds more than 50 per cent of shares.
Pursuant to the document, ownership supervision authorities may instruct representatives of the State in such business companies' governing bodies to vote for the disposal of real property items owned by such companies upon coordination with the President of the country if the cost of each property item is in excess of 10,000 base values. |
