By his Decree, the President of the Republic of Belarus has approved the bill drafting plan for 2010.

The main criteria for drawing up the plan were the society’s real need for regulating the associated relationships by taking into account the effective legislative requirements, the priority status of their legal regulation at the level of the law, substantiation of the choice of the appropriate legal regulation form.

In accordance with the plan, a total of 42 bills will be drafted in 2010, including 12 new bills. These are the draft laws "On Medical Help for the Individuals Having Life-Threatening Illnesses, Human Immunodeficiency Virus; On the Protection of their Rights in the Course of Its Provision," "On Auxiliary Reproductive Technologies and Protection of Citizens’ Rights in the Course of their Use," "On the Names of Geographical Objects," "On Legal Acts of the Republic of Belarus," "On Copyright and the Neighbouring Rights," "On State Procurements of Goods (Works, Services)," "On the Emission Centres of Securities and Professional Players of the Securities Market," "On Non-Commercial Organisations," "On Counteraction against Trafficking in Human Beings," "On the System of Savings for the Construction of Housing," "On Agricultural and Industrial Production," and "On Climate Protection."
