President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated President Ivan Gašparovič of the Slovak Republic and the people of this country on their national holiday, Independence Day.

In his letter of congratulation, President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed the conviction that further expansion of the Belarus-Slovakia relationship, development of fruitful bilateral cooperation based on friendship and mutual understanding are in the interests of the two countries and the entire European continent.
