Belarus and Ukraine have signed a memorandum of interaction to implement mutually beneficial projects as part of the Eastern Partnership initiative.
The memorandum was signed on 5 November in the presence of the presidents of the two countries, following their talks.
In addition, the sides signed an intergovernmental agreement regulating organisation of trade fairs in the border regions of Belarus and Ukraine to sell Belarusian-made and Ukrainian-made goods. Also, a protocol was signed on the exchange of ratification notes on the consular convention between Belarus and Ukraine. The sides signed an agreement on regional interaction, in particular regarding cooperation in the areas of trade, science, technology, culture and education between Minsk and the Lvov Region, between the towns of Gomel and Chernigov. |
