The President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has sent a letter of greetings to the participants of the 4th Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS Member States which opened today in Chişinău.
Contacts between experts in education, science and culture of the CIS member states are becoming increasingly significant nowadays, said Alexander Lukashenko. ‘Being a crucial part of interstate relations, these ties are necessary for preserving and contributing to the common cultural heritage, fruitful scientific work, joint search for solutions to urgent integration issues and global problems,’ the letter of greetings runs.
The CIS Council of the Heads of State declared this year the Year of Youth in the Commonwealth. A big number of the delegates of the forum are young people. The President of Belarus has expressed the conviction that the forum will contribute to the cultivation of the ideals of humanism, tolerance, cooperation, peace and consent in the young citizens of the CIS member states. |
