On 3 July President Alexander Lukashenko attended in the gala concert ‘We Won!’ which was held in front of the stela ‘Hero City of Minsk’ to commemorate Independence Day and the 65^th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders.

The gala featured the sing-along of the national anthem with nearly 200,000 Minsk residents and guests pitching in. The sing-along culminated in a firework which lasted for more than 20 minutes and was followed by an open-air music concert.
