President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a message of greetings to the participants of the 50^th international meeting of partisans and underground activists of the Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation, and the Latvian Republic on the Friendship Hill.

‘We will never forget that the independence of our country and the Great Victory were achieved by the Belarusians fighting shoulder to shoulder with the other peoples of the Soviet Union,’ said Alexander Lukashenko in his message of greetings.

The President has expressed his gratitude to the veterans for their loyalty to the traditions of the military brotherhood, for their exemplary courage and patriotism. ‘We bow low before you for your wisdom, invaluable experience and the warmth of your hearts that you generously impact to the young. May you always be surrounded with love, care of your family, honour and recognition in the society,’ said the Head of State in his message of greetings.
