To residents of the Grodno Region
Dear friends,
Please accept my sincere congratulations on the 65th anniversary of the establishing of the Grodno Region.
Founded in wartime of the year 1944, the region has walked a long way. Within a short time, its citizens managed to rebuild the destroyed economy, raise towns and villages from ruins.
The selfless work of the region’s town dwellers and villagers has made this Neman country one of the advanced, progressing and socially stable regions of the nation, which reports high economic indicators and is endowed with a rich intellectual potential.
The region is also one of the nation’s leaders in agricultural production. Farmers from across the republic come to this place to learn how to get record-breaking harvests, milk yields, and increases in live weight.
Housing construction is carried out in the Grodno Region at an impressive pace; amenities are being improved in population centres, historic monuments refurbished. The region is distinguished by its scientific, cultural, and sporting achievements. All the social programmes have been carried out consistently here, which gives confidence in the future.
The successes of the labourers of this Neman country result from their diligence, professionalism, creativity, and energy.
I wish for the health, happiness and new achievements of the residents of the Grodno Region for the good of the dear Fatherland.
