Belarus, Ukraine Agree On Guaranteed Delivery of Belarusian-Made Tyres05.06.2009

The President of the Republic of Belarus has approved a draft Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the terms of delivering to Ukraine new air rubber tyres for passenger cars. The Decree to this effect was signed by the Head of State on 4 June.

The Agreement stipulates a guaranteed volume of delivery of Belarusian tyres to Ukraine at prices no lower than those charged for such tyres in the Belarusian market.

The signing of the Agreement will help make sure this product remains present in the Ukrainian market.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine, Valentin Velichko, has been authorised to hold the negotiations and sign the Agreement.

The Agreement will be applied on a temporary basis from the moment of its signing until it officially comes into force.
