On Additional Measures to Stimulate Research, Scientific, Technical, and Innovation Activities
In accordance with the Decree, in remuneration of labour of the workers involved in the research and scientific activities considered particularly significant for Belarus, the tariff rate should be applied that has been fixed by the Council of Ministers for remuneration of labour at the organisations funded from the national budget and enjoying state subsidies, and applying the multiplying ratio of up to 2.5.
A research activity is considered particularly significant if it is expected to contribute to national security, help improve the quality of life of the population, boost the export of domestically-produced goods. A research activity is identified particularly significant by a related decision made by the Head of State upon recommendation of the Government.
