The Presidents of Belarus and Russia have co-ordinated their positions on all the issues included on the agenda of the Supreme State Council meeting, said President Alexander Lukashenko on 3 February in the course of the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Belarus-Russia Union State in Moscow.
The Belarusian President added that the sides were determined ‘to solve promptly the issues that are currently being dealt with’.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that the decisions the sides were about to take came as a result of the hard and well-coordinated work. He added that today’s meeting in Moscow would identify the Union State’s further priorities, taking into consideration today’s volatile trends and situation, including the world financial and economic crisis, which required Belarus and Russia to work closely and co-ordinate their actions. |
