President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to People’s Artist of Russia Nadezhda Babkina.

In his letter the President has said, Nadezhda Babkina has made an invaluable contribution towards preserving and popularizing folk song traditions, brought the folk song onto new creative heights and won the hearts of millions of people.

"We know and love you, a wonderful performer, founder and permanent head of the folk band "Russian Song," a generous person whose creative serves to strengthen the unity of the fraternal relations," said Alexander Lukashenko.
