I am sincerely glad to congratulate you on the notable date – the 90th anniversary of the Communist Union of Youth, the biggest youth organization of the Soviet Union.
The biographies of many generations are inseparably connected with the history of the All-Union Lenin Communist Union of Youth. It has always been in the vanguard of accomplishing strategic objectives of the country – illiteracy elimination, industrialization, defence of the Homeland during the Great Patriotic War; development of virgin lands, the resources of Siberia, the Far East and the Far North; raising of patriot-citizens, promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Student construction teams, the Golden Puck and Leather Ball tournaments for children and youth have not become any less relevant today. All the best things that Komsomol had are in demand today.
Komsomol is a remarkable combination of the life of the country and the lives of each of us, a flame of creativity and enthusiasm, a special state of mind!
The anniversary celebrations give us an opportunity to expresses gratitude to the veterans of the AULCUY for preserving the continuity of generations and invaluable experience – the foundations for uniting today’s youth.
Today the great history and best traditions of Komsomol are continued by the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. It unites young men and women by the noble goal of building a strong and prosperous Belarus – the state for the people.
It is from the young committed people that the republic expects significant actions and undertakings, energy and determination in implementing truly ambitions plans for making a breakthrough toward a new quality of life, high technologies and a worthy place among the most advanced countries of the international community.
