By his Executive Order No 129 рп , President Alexander Lukashenko has approved the Decision of the council of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for social support for gifted school and university students.
The council’s Decision was to award presidential scholarships to 193 students of state-run institutions of higher learning and Belarusian Trade and Economic Consumer Cooperation University. Fund Laureate Badges and monetary prises were awarded to four winners of the 41st Mendeleyev International Chemistry Olympiad for School Students (Russia), five winners of the 1st International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad (Thailand) and seven winners of the 4th Zhautykov International Mathematics and Physics Olympiad (Kazakhstan).
Encouragement prises and Fund Laureate Badges were awarded to Polina Fedorova, a 10th grade student of secondary school No 51, Minsk, winner of the 4th Zhautykov International Mathematics and Physics Olympiad.
