Belarus pursues an open policy towards its partners, and favours trust and equal rights in international relations, said President Alexander Lukashenko on 27 May while receiving credential from new ambassadors of Hungary, Georgia, South Korea, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Montenegro, Brazil, Burundi, Mexico and Ecuador.
“Belarus is open to mutually beneficial contacts, mature partnership. He who comes to us as a friend, harbouring no sinister designs, will always be a welcome guest in our country. We welcome everyone with whom we have common interests and goals. We work with our allies and all partners in order to bring more justice into the world and make the world a better place,” said Alexander Lukashenko.
Belarus is keen to develop constructive relations with European countries.
“I hope the opening of the embassy of Hungary in Minsk is convincing evidence of the two countries’ having stepped up the level of their interaction in all areas, first of all in what concerns trade, economic and investment cooperation,” said Alexander Lukashenko, while receiving credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hungarian Republic to the Republic of Belarus, Ferenc Kontra. |
