The President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has congratulated the staff of the editorial office of the Maladost magazine on the 55th anniversary of the publishing of the first edition of this periodical.
In his message of congratulations the Head of State said, the history of this youth-oriented periodical is in a sense a chronicle of Belarusian literature. The magazine is rightfully called the school of fiction and journalistic literature, which has helped cultivate several generations of Belarusian men of literature.
"Today's activity of the Maladost editorial staff promotes unification of the creative intelligentsia of Belarus on a constructive basis, which is a considerable contribution into implementing the national policy in the areas of culture and arts," the President said in his message of congratulations.
