Belarus and China are co-operating actively in the credit and investment sector, said the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on July 16 during a meeting with the Minister of Finance of the People’s Republic of China, Jin Renqing.

The Belarusian Head of State thanked China and personally the Chinese Minister of Finance for the assistance provided for Belarus. “Our today’s model of socio-economic development is very much similar to the model currently pursued by China,” Alexander Lukashenko said. “We have been closely studying the experience of China and have taken account of it while implementing some projects,” he added.
