On May 7, the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko signed into action Ordinance No 3 “On the introduction of an addition to the Ordinance of the President of the Republic of Belarus of April 18, 2003, No 14.”
The Decree by the President of the Republic of Belarus No14 of April 18, 2003 “ On the establishment of tariff preferences” comprises the lists of developing and less-developed countries and the lists of the goods entitled to tariff preferences during the importation to Belarus. The tariff preferences imply the reduction of import customs duties by 25 percent or exemption from import customs duties.
Decree No 14 of April 18, 2003, has been supplemented with a norm that establishes the conditions for the application of the rules of direct purchases and shipments in identifying the country of origin of goods in connection with the granting of the tariff preferences stipulated by this Decree. |
