On the approval of the provisions for the procedure of the establishment of innovation infrastructure entities and the introduction of an amendment and additions to Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No 495 of September 30, 2002

On January 3, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed into action Decree No 1 “On the approval of the provisions for the procedure of the establishment of innovation infrastructure entities and the introduction of an amendment and additions to Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No 495 of September 30, 2002.”

The document aims to encourage innovation activities.

The innovation infrastructure entities include scientific-technological parks, centres for the transfer of technologies and venture organizations. Given that status, the foregoing organizations shall be registered at the State Committee for Science and Technologies pursuant to the procedure specified by the above-stated provisions. In particular, they shall render assistance in setting up the manufacturing facilities with new technologies, in carrying out innovation activities starting from search (development of) for innovations up to their realization; they shall take a set of measures aimed at the transfer of innovations from the development stage to practical application.
