On the Introduction of Amendments and Additions to Decree by the President of the Republic of Belarus No 209 of November 17, 1994

On December 29, the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko signed into action Decree No 755 “On the Introduction of Amendments and Additions to Decree by the President of the Republic of Belarus No 209 of November 17, 1994.”

The document establishes a procedure for examining the issues concerning the citizenship of the Republic of Belarus. Specifically, it includes regulation of issues relating to granting of citizenship and withdrawal of citizenship of the Republic of Belarus, identification of belonging to the Republic of Belarus citizens, execution of decisions on these matters.

The procedure for submitting and examining applications from foreign citizens, stateless persons and Republic of Belarus nationals on these matters has been specified and simplified to an utmost degree.
