On October 6, President of the Republic of Belarus visited the Water Sports Palace of the Olimpiysky Sports and Recreation Centre. Alexander Lukashenko became familiarized with the results of the updating of this facility, with the projects of its subsequent development and construction of a freestyle instructional and training centre, an aquapark, a sports games centre.

The Head of State emphasized the need of achieving maximum yield from the money invested: “If an enormous amount of money is invested the effectiveness should be equally high. What we need above all else are high results in sports.”
