On mandatory sale of foreign currency proceeds
On July 17, with a view of maintaining stability of the Belarusian rubel, meeting the needs of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in foreign currency, the President of the Republic of Belarus signed into action Decree No 452 “On mandatory sale of foreign currency proceeds.”
The Decree provides for the mandatory sale of foreign currency from the foreign currency cash deposited as foreign currency proceeds from the exports of goods (works, services) into the accounts of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs at the banks of the Republic of Belarus and elsewhere, and from the foreign currency cash received from the sales of goods (works, services) by natural persons.
The norm of the mandatory sale of foreign currency remains unchanged, equaling 30 percent.
