On some measures related to the state support in developing tourism in the Republic of Belarus

On June 2, President of the Republic of Belarus signed into action Decree No 371 “On some measures related to the state support in developing tourism in the Republic of Belarus.”

Implementation of the measures stipulated by the Decree will make it possible to boost inbound tourism by reducing costs of the services for organizing travels across Belarus. The document will facilitate attraction of additional investments into the tourist industry and help domestic tourist product makers.

The limited-in-time exemption from customs duties in the imports to the customs territory of the Republic of Belarus of buses which comply to the EURO-3 standard will help renew the existing bus fleet. As a result, the tourist transport services will be made safer and their quality better.
