Automobile Business in Belarus Must Be Transparent07.10.2005

“We must not worsen the situation and suppress people and those who want to purchase a car. We must encourage this kind of striving of the people. But this is not the point. There is a need to do everything in Belarus so that automobile business could be transparent. That is, to arrange civilized retail sales of cars and their spare parts here in Belarus, so that our citizens could have the opportunity not to go to Germany or Lithuania to buy cars but be able to acquire them here, without wasting money for visas, accommodation and travel expenses,” pointed out President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the meeting on autobusiness issues in the Republic of Belarus.
