24 workers of industrial and other organizations have been honoured with state awards by the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko in recognition of their great achievements in production activity, considerable personal contribution to the fulfillment of the planned indicators of socio-economic development of this country.

Machine assembly mechanic of the Minsk Automobile Works Ivan Mataras has been awarded the Order of Honour.

The awardees of the Medal “For Distinction in Labour” include director of Volkovysk meat packing factory Ivan Zhuk, director of Molodechno Food Kombinat Yuri Kononenko, director of Senno cooperative trade enterprise Anna Yakovleva, seamstresses of the JSC “Elema” Maria Bovtrel and Irina Kryakhtina. The same award has been presented to the staff workers of the open joint stock company “Belfa” - its general director Mikhail Kostylev, knitter Galina Lyubinskaya, electrician for repair and maintenance of electric equipment Vladimir Pokrovsky – and to director of Rechitsa hardware plant Adam Vashkov, wire drawer of the steel wire shop at this plant Viktor Kavun and others.
