President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has extended his deepest condolences to People's Artist of the USSR Lyudmila Kasatkina on the death of her husband People's Artist of the USSR Sergei Kolosov.

"The whole era in art is connected with the name of this outstanding director. Sergei Kolosov has entered into history as a founder of the serials genre in the Soviet television. It is the Telefilm film studio, with Sergei Kolosov as a director, that made the best Soviet serials," the message of condolences runs.

"People in Belarus always appreciated the talent of Sergei Kolosov. For us his demise is the irretrievable spiritual loss," the President stressed.
