Commentary to Decree No. 136 of 18 March 201219.03.2012

On 18 March Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 136 "On Measures to Improve the System of Pension Benefits".

In line with the document, if a person continues working without an old-age pension after he or she reaches the pension age, the pension will be raised:

by 6% of the salary used to calculate pension benefits for the first year;

by 14% for two years;

by 24% for three years;

by 36% for four years;

for the fifth and each following year the percentage points will be increased by 14%.
