In connection with the passing of the People's Artist of the USSR, Nikolai Petrov, President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and friends.

"The work of Nikolai Arnoldovich has garnered great recognition and love in our country where his every performance became a big event for thousands of music lovers," the letter of condolence runs.
