The people responsible for the execution of the terrorist act in Minsk metro have been detained and the crime has been solved, said President Alexander Lukashenko during today's meeting centred on the investigation of the metro blast.

"Today at 5 o'clock in the morning the crime was solved. It took the special services and the police merely 24 hours to carry out an excellent operation yesterday at 9 o'clock in the evening and detain, without any fuss and shooting, the executors. Today at 5 o'clock in the morning they testified. The main thing is that we already know who and how carried out that terrorist act. It is still unclear why, though, but this will also become known soon, and this is our main goal today," said the Head of State.
