Dear countrymen, distinguished soldiers and veterans of the Armed Forces,

Let me convey to you my cordial greetings on Fatherland Defender's and Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus' Day.

This day is the tribute to all those who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland and who, by their unprecedented heroism, defended the right of our people to freedom and to being the masters on their land, to chose their future and decide how to live.

This is a celebration of the worthy heirs of the generation of the victors, who are protecting the world and the wellbeing of the country in today's conditions.

We are by right proud of the historic choice made by the Belarusian people, confident of the present and optimistic about the future.

The Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus today are a manifestation of high professionalism and excellent military skills, a reliable shield of the Fatherland, a guarantor of territorial integrity and sovereignty.

On this festive day, allow me to express my sincere gratitude not only to those who have dedicated their lives to the noble cause of serving one's Fatherland, having made it their profession, but also to those who by their peaceful and honest labour are strengthening our country, contributing to its national wealth.

I wish you happiness and successes in all your undertakings for the good of the dear Belarus!
