On the free travel of some categories of citizens on the territory of the Republic of Belarus due to the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the German Fascist invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War
War Veterans Granted Right to Travel at No Fare
President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has taken a decision to grant the participants and invalids of the Great Patriotic War the right to travel at no fare from June 30 to July 5, 2004 and from April 30 to May 12, 2005 on the territory of our republic by interurban buses and by trains of the Belarusian railways in general train cars, cars with numbered reserved seats, and compartment cars.
Decree No 300 to this effect “On the free travel of some categories of citizens on the territory of the Republic of Belarus due to the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the German Fascist invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War” was signed into action by the Head of State on June 29.
