Aleksandr Lukashenko attends Victory Day parade in Moscow

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko went to see a parade held in Red Square in Moscow in honor of the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The leaders of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Cuba, Laos, and Guinea-Bissau were also among the distinguished guests in the stands. President of Russia Vladimir Putin made a speech.

Over 9,000 people and over 70 units of military hardware took part in the Red Square parade. Aviation units also participated in it.

After the parade the leaders of the countries laid wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Gardens outside Kremlin walls.
